Remembering a mother and child  / Tina WATKIN (Friend of Denise )

I never met Charles but through talking to Denise for many hours, I came to know of him and the pain she was going through. I accompanied her to Canada with the 'Search for Charles Team' for the Seventh Year Anniversary of his disappearance. I was convinced we would find more clues, but we met as many false paths. Unless you are in the same situation it must be nigh impossible to understand the heartache which is felt; one can but try. Wherever I go, and in all the groups I belong to, there is always the possibility that any knowledge I can impart might just find someone who could provide another piece of the jigsaw to fit together to lead to Charles, or as they continue passing on the information, someone down the line may hold the key. I am keeping my thoughts free to try to reach out for an answer. Denise, keep positive and strong, 'Someone out there knows the truth'. Love Tina X

Thank you for putting up this webside. We along with all our families pray for you, Denise. There is nothing worse then a child being torn away from his mother. When we mention our Grandson, Mike, we are reminded that we are not alone in our sorrow of the unknown. 
Allthough we have never met your son, Charles, we remember him many times through the "missing" of our grandson.
Thank you for being our daughter and husband's friend in their time of need..
We will always look out for your Charlie and along with many other Canadians pray for some closure for you and your family as well as our family.

Dear Denise i would like to take the oportunity that you have offered to pay my condolences to you for the dissaperence of your beautiful son Charles,s dissaperence in Kelowna in 1989 this same year a son was born to me he is now 18 yrs and as a mother of a bright beautiful son i can only imagine the horror that you have endured , i am so very very sorry Denise. Your fight back has been second to none regarding your duty as a mother you have exceded in all areas where most mothers would for sure be hidden in your shadow for what you have done for Charles your beloved son...Please continue your search and dont ever give up hope of one day finding him and finding the truth.. love lily Close

Tribute to Charles Mother  / Wendy Bosma

For almost 20 years I have watched Charles Mother (Denise) look for her only son.   So many news stories...so many dead ends... and yet she persists. Many many people recognize the handsome face of Denise's son Charles because she has worked hard to get his name and story out there!  
I know Charles must be so proud of his mother for her courage and strength.  
Perhaps this is the year we get some answers.....
